We are pleased to announce that our outdoor walk & talk sessions will be recommencing from Monday 22nd June!
Restrictions will be in place during these sessions to ensure the safety of all patients and staff. Spaces will be limited to a maximum of 5 per walk, and 2m social distancing will be ensured. These sessions will only be available to specific patients groups. For now we ask that those who have been asked by the government to shield at home and those currently undergoing or recently completed chemotherapy or immunotherapy continue to remain at home.

How far can you dry swim in the time it takes to boil the kettle?
Todays challenge is a dry breast stroke. This should give you an all round upper body work-out and start to raise your heart rate and body temperature. If standing engage your core and try to move only your upper body. To make it slightly easier, this can be done whilst sitting. Take it at your own pace.

Todays pose is Uttanasana or standing forward fold.
This posture stretches the hamstrings, calves and hips whilst strengthening the thighs and structures of the knees. Forwards fold is said to help relive stress, mild anxiety and depression and reduce the effects of fatigue. Hold here for five slow breathes, feeling the stretch down the back of your legs. You will be able to see progress the more regularly you practice this one - it can be done every day.
